Dr. Bill Robinson

Bill is a recognized scholar-practitioner with over thirty years of experience building impactful nonprofit organizations, cultivating others’ leadership capacity, and designing innovative Jewish education. He specializes in helping individuals and institutions to realize their amazing potential.

He has navigated organizations through complex changes and designed strategic roadmaps for communities, believing that individual, organizational, and communal thriving comes through discovering one’s unique strengths, learning from and with others, thinking strategically, and working collaboratively to navigate the uncertain landscapes in which we live and work today.

Attuned to emergent trends in Jewish life, Bill writes about innovative Jewish practice, highlighting its transformative potential, and provides guidance to those interested in learning from these innovations how to lead a life of purpose and well-being.

Bill was the founding executive director of Na’aleh: The Hub for leadership Learning, the largest community-based Jewish education organization in North America. Prior, he was the Dean of the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS. Bill is currently the Director of National Leadership Initiatives at the Center for Small Town Jewish Life at Colby College.
